Wayward Spider lady by Stekichikun
Wayward Spider lady
Here is a page from Wayward 9 featuring the Jorogumo, or the spider lady.  This is a character I particularly enjoy drawing.  Drawn on Deleter manga paper (110 kg) cut to US comic board size.  Deleter absolutely rocks!!!

I did another Wayward sketch cover, this time of Rori with the red strings of fate.  Drawn, inked, copiced, and toned, by hand.
Wayward 6_20 Ayane introduces herself by Stekichikun
Wayward 6_20 Ayane introduces herself
A favorite page from the second story arc of my ongoing title from Image Comics, Wayward.  Here Ayane meets Ohara for the first time.  I love the way this one played out.  Nikaido in the background just wrapped it up perfectly.
Wayward 6 sketch cover by Stekichikun
Wayward 6 sketch cover
I got a small stack of the sketch convention variants for issue 6 of Wayward (due out in just a few days).  I am not attending any US conventions this year but I didn't want these things to go to waste so I did one up with Ayane the cat girl.  Copics and tone on a comic book cover.  Proper.
3rd Eye Waywrd 6 variant cover by Stekichikun
3rd Eye Waywrd 6 variant cover
The nice people at 3rd eye have asked for a variant cover for Wayward issue 6 for their store and here is the line art.  We are obviously parodying something here...

I live in Japan and draw comic books for a living.

Current Residence: Japan, the right-hand side of the big island...
I have been contacted about when I might put my original doushinshi, Oblivion Planet, on sale in America.

Here are the covers to issue 1:…

and issue 2:…

So I have decided to offer it up for sale.  So far there are two issues at 12 and 18 pages (for issues 1 and 2 respectively), they are A4 size, and are in Japanese.  Sorry, but there is no English.  If you are interested in a Japanese language book I am selling both as a set for $10 with shipping being $3.  So $13 total (payment through Paypal only please).  Shipping should take 2 weeks.  Anyone who wants a set should just message me here.  Thanks!

Bought Wayward #1 last year because the cover looked cool as well as the inside art. Then I put it aside figuring I'd read it later, I seem to do that with a few comics. Anyway, I finally read it and loved it. The lines, the COLORS! and the writing are all awesome!! I bought the trade and got a subscription at the comic shop. Keep up the good work! It's fantastic!!

What's up? It's awesome to know you're here. I've been fascinated by your line work for a long time. (Well, since the first issue of Wayward) I especially love the expressions and directions you've drawn out in the recent 6th issue. It's been a long wait this year for it too, but well worth it once it finally got released. I look forward to more at the end of each upcoming month. Thank you, and keep it up. Clap #1
